An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with up to date knowledge of clinical and professional palliative and end of life care issues to join the Specialist Palliative Care team based in Newtown, providing palliative care advice and support to north Powys.

The applicant must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage complex palliative care and end of life issues and have an understanding of the issues particular to working within the community setting.

Candidates must possess an ability to work both independently and as part of a small team. They will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with support from the Specialist Palliative Care team.

The post holder must have excellent communication skills

The post holder will form part of the rota to cover weekends for Specialist palliative care advice.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
