Job overview
We are looking for an excellent forensic administrator to join our team on at Littlemore Mental Health Centre, OX4. We're offering this role on a part time basis (2 days per week, 9am - 5pm, preferably on a Thursday and Friday).
The post holder will work with the forensic community mental health team (FCMHT) based at the Oxford Clinic. The role will involve supporting the FCMHT with their day-to-day work.
If you are a highly motivated individual who is able to work well as part of a busy team, has excellent organisational skills and is able to manage their own workload and take initiative as required we would like to hear from you.
Please note, interview date is 12th June 2024 and it will be a face to face interview with a minute taking exercise at Oxford Clinic, Littlemore MHC.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to produce correspondence and reports as required for the FCMHT team, organising and attending meetings, preparing agendas, ensuring all appropriate arrangements have been made prior to meetings (including collation and distribution of any relevant papers) and taking minutes.
Part of your role will be to ensure that electronic health records are efficiently maintained and coordinated for the FCMHT and this will involve receiving complex or sensitive information, and ensuring that the information is shared with the team in a timely manner.
You will be tasked with entering patient information into the Electronic Health Record, ensuring the information is entered accurately and in a timely fashion. This includes updating demographic information, uploading correspondence, creating new referrals and endings as needed.
You will also work with, and support, other forensic administrators to maintain a comprehensive and equitable administrative service, providing cover for other administrators in times of absence.

Experience of working within an administrative role.
Good communication skills.
Good written and verbal skills.
Experience of servicing meetings including minute taking.
Word processing experience with audio and copy typing.
The ability to work under pressure
Ability to prioritise own workload.
An understanding of GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Microsoft Teams.
