Are you looking for a rewarding fixed term/secondment opportunity in the healthcare field? King's Mill Hospital's Women and Children Division is seeking a dedicated Clinical Typist to join our dynamic team within the Community Paediatric Team.

As a Clinical Typist in our Women and Children Division, your main purpose will be to provide a high-quality clinical typing service to a team of Consultants while supporting our Patient Pathway Coordinators. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring efficient patient care and a smooth administrative workflow.

Knowledge Requirements

Essential criteria
  • Computer literate with excellent keyboard skills
Desirable criteria
  • Medical terminology.
  • Working knowledge of PAS and the NHS in general

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good general education including English GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Audio Typing Experience
Desirable criteria
  • European Computer Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level II Admin (or equivalent)

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working within an office environment
  • Quality Customer Service
Desirable criteria
  • NHS experience

  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
