Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Clinical Typist to join our Cardiology Department in a 12 months fixed-term position. You will collaborate with  Patient Pathway Coordinators to identify outstanding actions, support patient care initiatives and contribute to the achievement of waiting time targets.

Knowledge Requirements

Essential criteria
  • Computer literate with excellent keyboard skills
Desirable criteria
  • Medical terminology
  • Working knowledge of PAS and the NHS in general

QualificationsAcademic/Craft/ Professional

Essential criteria
  • Good general education including English GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • RSA II (or equivalent)
Desirable criteria
  • European Computer Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level II Admin

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working within an office environment
  • Quality Customer Service
Desirable criteria
  • NHS experience
