Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our existing multi-disciplinary professional maintenance team in providing a safe environment for all service users, staff and visitors across our Suffolk sites being based in Bury St Edmunds.

The successful candidate would be flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and confident in being part of a team that provides a comprehensive maintenance service in a unique varied environment.

Duties & Responsibilities Associated with this role:

  • to provide a comprehensive service to include all aspects of planned and routine maintenance
  • to repair and maintain a wide range of electrical services and equipment on site
  • fault finding and diagnosis
  • routine inspections to ensure our estate is safe and fully compliant
  • ensuring all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health & Safety and other relevant legislation
  • will be required to participate as a member of the On-Call Team providing an emergency out of hours service on a rotational basis

Experience

Qualifications

  • Recognised & registered EITB minimum 3 year apprenticeship as in Electrical Engineering
  • City & Guilds 236 Parts A & B OR City & Guilds 2330 Electro Technical Technology inc. AM1 & AM2 or equivalent OR NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering
  • City & Guilds BS7671 - 18th Edition of the I.E.E. Regulations
  • Full UK driving licence for ability to drive Trust vehicles
