Job overview
Lynch Syndrome is one of the most common hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes and is though to affect 1:400 people, of which 95% are unaware of their diagnosis.
You will establish the regions Lynch Syndrome MDT liaising with MDT co-ordinators across the North West to ensure that patients receive the correct care. You will be responsible for collating, collecting and inputting patient activity data, carrying out all administrative duties in relation to NW Lynch Syndrome Cancer.

Main duties of the job
Co-ordination and accurate recording of regional MDTs and liaison with Lynch Syndrome nurse and other health professionals to ensure that results are discussed for each case.
Recording and collation of all abnormal results and ensure if appropriate a referral is made the to Regional Genetics Service.
Live secretarial support to meetings and the use of video conferencing and other IT equipment.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
you will be responsible for establishing the regional MDT as part of The Lynch Syndrome Project beginning with colorectal and gynaecology MDTs.

- Good standard of education and RSA/NVQ equivalent typing skills
Desirable criteria
- ECDL
Experience and knowledge

- Minimum of 2 years secretarial/admin experience
- Experience of customer care
- Experience of dealing with conflicting demands and working to deadlines
- Experience of organising meetings and taking formal minutes
- Knowledge of information governance and data protection
- Proficient in MS office
