Job overview
Due to internal promotions we have position (s) for full time Radiographer(s) (Band 5) within the Radiology service at Kingston Hospital which has achieved an Outstanding CQC rating. The department provides a full range of diagnostic studies. The service currently undertakes approximately 300,000 examinations per annum and has access to a full complement of imaging modalities.
The Radiology Department is just completing a radiology MES project where the entire infrastructure and equipment has been replaced.

Job Summary
The post holder will assess/treat their own workload of patients/clients and maintain associated records and may also supervise assistants, support workers and students working with the post holder
The post-holder would be expected to participate in the departments shift system.

Qualification
Essential criteria
- BSc Radiography or equivalent (e.g. Diploma of the College of Radiographers ®)
- Health & Care Professions Council Registration (HCPC)
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Sound clinical knowledge of radiography
- Awareness of current radiographic developments
- Sound knowledge of IRMER regulations
- Understanding of clinical governance and its implications
Experience
Essential criteria
- Clinical Training in a recognised training establishment
- Previous Experience of working in a UK NHS environment

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
