Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

Band 7

Trosolwg o'r swydd

Oxleas are seeking to recruit to a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join one of our established and MDT integrated secondary care psychological therapies team.  We have two new exciting new vacancies for a full time and part time (0.6 fte) applicant.  The ADAPT-West Team (Anxiety, Depression, Affective disorders, Personality and Trauma) is based in Beckenham and serves the west of the London Borough of Bromley.  This is essentially the non-psychosis community mental health team for 18-65yr olds.

This is an exciting opportunity for the post holder to join a team that is currently developing new and innovative ways of working with people with complex emotional needs.  This includes  ‘whole team approach’ interventions such as SCM (Structured Clinical Management), a pilot service for young adults transitioning from CAMHS alongside more established ways of working with attachment and trauma approaches (i.e. MBT, CBT, CAT, Psychodynamic, EMDR,  Systemic & 3rd wave approaches).  Oxleas has a strong tradition in promoting psychological therapies and embraces multi-modal formulation-based approaches.

Personal therapeutic interests and specialty development are actively encouraged and supported.  This can be via formal training as well as established specialist supervision forums which are provided across the Trust.
