Main duties of the job

As a Specialist Community Public Health Assistant Practitioner, you will have excellent communication skills and knowledge of working in the community with children and their wider family.

You will be a solution focused team player who will support the delivery of the universal offer, in a 0-19 integrated neighbourhood team.

You will work collaboratively with other agencies, to ensure protection and the best health outcomes for children and families in Bolton.

As a Specialist Community Public Health Assistant Practitioner, you will work within the community, dealing with clients from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of need.

Person specification

Evidence of NVQ Level 3 in Child care

Essential criteria
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Evidence of working with children & young people
  • Organisational skills & effective communicator
Desirable criteria
  • Evidence of working in a public health field.
  • Evidence of IT skills

Commuication

Essential criteria
  • Evidence of effective communication (written, verbal, electronic)
