Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is delighted to be able to advertise for a dynamic, forward-thinking Practice Manager to work in a Health Board Managed practice in the Conwy area, Llys Meddyg Surgery. In addition, we would expect the Practice Manager to spend at least one day a week working within the Central Area Primary Care Team in a development/service improvement role.

The successful applicant will be expected to lead the operational management of the practice working with the salaried GPs, Nursing and Administrative team and BCUHB’s Central Area Primary Care Team to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual preferably with previous experience of working within general practice that can lead and inspire.

You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confidence in managing a team and organisational skills are essential for this role.

As a Health Board Managed Practice we are required to deliver the service in accordance with the requirements of the GMS contract and ensure accurate and timely reporting against the Quality Outcomes Framework and Enhanced Services.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
