Talk to us about our range of flexible working opportunities, apprenticeships and staff benefits

Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is at the heart of all we do; and it forms part of the ESNEFT’s core activities. The Trust operates and relies on everyone treating each other with dignity and respect, to receive equitable and fair treatment in the implementation of Policies, Procedures and in its Practices, to foster positive work relationships, and finally to act with integrity as a professional within ESNEFT as well as a representative of the NHS as a whole.  The EDI Agenda reflects the Trust values such as Optimistic, Appreciative and Kind. In line with the NHS Long Term Plan, People Plan, People Promise and a Model Employer intrinsic in the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Agenda, we consistently strive to improve, to take the learning into Action for a better ESNEFT.

If you are passionate about patient care and want to develop your skills and knowledge then we are keen to hear from you.

Trosolwg o'r swydd

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Education Trainer to join our Post Registration team, based at our Colchester Hospital site.

You will be helping to support bands 2-4 clinical staff as well as supporting the wider education team. This post is full time and applications are welcomed from health care support workers from an AHP, Midwifery or nursing background.

This post will consist of classroom teaching of clinical skills, induction, care certificate and our 12-month development programme for Bands 2-4.

You will be supporting the assessment of care certificate standards and clinical skills, providing support to band 2-4 staff within their clinical areas. You will be expected to provide pastoral support and signposting to a range of well-being health services as relevant.

You will need to be self-motivated, displaying current high-level skills in clinical work.  You will have confidence in presenting learning content in an engaging manner, both face to face and through virtual platforms.  Passion to develop and support others is essential combined with the ability to build relationships rapidly.

You will be an excellent networker and able to confidently liaise with all non-medical professional staff groups to support learning as many of our programmes are multi-disciplinary.

While this post is Colchester based, there may be travel required and a need to support the teams on either Ipswich site or within the community.
