We are looking for a well motivated with good people skills individual, who is keen to learn and be part of the wider community mental health Occupational Therapy team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be part of the Community Mental Health Occupational Therapy team that work alongside the wider team of Basildon locality mental health team. The post holder will be guided by senior team members in all aspects supporting the delivery of specific treatment interventions to those within the service on either an individual or group basis.
As part of the team you will have the opportunity to learn about specific approaches and management of certain conditions, and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge.

What is Staff Bank?
Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings. Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.
All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The successful post holder will be guided in working with those with a variety of mental health conditions. You will have the opportunity to develop a range of skills that will guide you in working with those with mental health challenges. You will be working to support recovery, helping a person to develop strategies to manage their mental health and encourage a positive rehabilitation.
