Job overview

Administrator role available for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave, based at Delamere Resource Centre, Crewe to provide efficient and effective administrative support.

The role is within the Involvement Recovery & Wellness, which is part of Severe Mental Health Community Team that works across primary and secondary care services. The post undertakes the administration of all telephone calls and referrals received into the service, which includes directing people who may be in crisis, keeping CWP’s electronic systems up to date, typing, diary management, preparing of reports, using a range of Microsoft Office Programmes, filing and photocopying.

You will need to be able to work as part of a team, and to be able to work alone without frequent direct supervision, be friendly, have a non-judgemental attitude towards others,  be able to prioritise own workload and have experience, or be willing to learn how to manage conflicting demands/priorities.  

This post is part time 17.25 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

To provide administrative support for the Involvement, Recovery and Wellness Service team members to ensure the workshop carried out is advertised appropriately and runs smoothly. 

The Involvement Recovery Wellness Centre is an educational service that offers self management support to users of CWP services both in groups and on a one to one basis. 

To ensure the workshop environment is welcoming, and appropriate.

 Meet and greet students, explain the IRWC ethos and the courses.

To assist individual participants, staff and training providers with administration and request for information using appropriate communication and judgement skills to support and resolve enquiry needs where possible.

To provide, develop, update, monitor and dispatch all relevant IRWC paperwork, including prospectus, promotional posters, and flyers, in collaboration with lead and volunteers using various software applications.

Arrange promotional events and attend these, marketing and advertising.

To be responsible for inputting, maintaining and retrieval of information from relevant databases and to assist in the preparation of statistical, audit information and assist in time limited projects as requested.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Proficient in computer packages (i.e. word, PowerPoint, Excel, Database)
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge and ability to create and edit computer packages, such as Indesign, Photoshot.

Knowledge and Expertise

Essential criteria
  • Working knowledge of software programmes e.g. Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of mental health issues and recovery orientated practice.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Data Protection Act

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous administration experience
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience in a health related environment
  • Experience of working as a member of a team in a office environment
