We are currently looking to recruit a number of enthusiastic and motivated Business Support Assistants to join our newly established Business Support team.
The post holder will work closely with the Business Support Co-ordinator and be pivotal in providing a first class business support to the specialist teams, older people mental health and therapy services within the north and south localities.

The Business Support Assistant will play a fundamental role within the Older People and Adults Community Directorate structure. The role has the main responsibility of providing full business support to specialist teams, older people mental health and therapy services within the north and south localities.
The post holder will work closely together and with all relevant Specialist Managers to support with business delivery for the specialist teams within the Older People and Adults Community Directorate as follows:
- Therapy Services
- Neurological Conditions Team
- Speech and Language Therapy Team
- Neuro Rehabilitation/Early Supported Discharge Team
- Falls team
The post holder will also have delegated authority and responsibility to act independently and to handle and deliver local decisions and actions with regards to the business functions of teams within a defined locality

- Recruitment/HR support for Clinical Teams
- On-boarding (S1, Uniforms, IT access)
- Support with Healthroster
- Support with Expenses

- Personnel Files
- Working with service managers to create new policy, procedure, and business plans
- Provide high level business support across services
- Effectively communicate between services and hub admin teams.
- Reporting
- Auditing
- Preparing presentations / meetings
- Clinical Business Continuity Plans
- MS Teams organisation and maintenance.
- Datix / Risk Register support
- Equipment asset registering and clinical engineering
- TAM’s ordering
As the service is countywide, you will be required to travel to various sites.
For this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. - Educated to GCSE (A-C or 9-4 grades, one of which must be English) or equivalent
- High standard of written and spoken English.

- RSA/OCR Stage III/NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
Experience

- Experience in a senior administrative position
- Demonstrate ability to contribute towards service improvement

- Previous experience of working in an NHS office environment
- Experience of supporting a multi-disciplinary team
