Job overview

Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5/ST6+) in Breast Surgery as soon as possible until 01 October 2024 in the first instance.

The Cambridge Breast Unit provides multidisciplinary and comprehensive care in the management of a full range of benign and malignant breast disease and is a tertiary referral centre for flap-based reconstructive procedures.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support one-stop diagnostic and follow up breast clinics, provide assistance in theatre, participate in pre and post-operative ward rounds and day to day running of the surgical breast unit (including medical administration). In addition, the post holder will also be expected to attend twice weekly MDT and participate in MDT team working. 

Please note that these posts do not carry Postgraduate Dean’s approval or training recognition.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.
