Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy HR Operations team as a HR Case Manager. This key role will utilise specialist knowledge and experience of highly complex Employee Relations cases, terms and conditions, national strategies, policies, and procedures to expertly manage and support the caseloads in the HR Team, supporting the Trust to achieve strategic workforce objectives in line with the Trust People Plan.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and natural self starter, able set and meet targets and capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
The successful applicant will be educated to post graduate level or be able demonstrate equivalent experience.

Main duties of the job
The HR Case Manager will expertly manage and support the caseloads in the HR Team.
Working proactively with the HR Business Partners, Divisional management teams, and Medical Director, the HR Case Manager will support the forward planning, modernisation, and engagement of the HR Team, embedding good HR practice and ensuring an appropriate response to legal and other requirements.
The HR Case Manager will lead on Trust-wide HR developments as agreed with the Head of People, other key stakeholders e.g., roll out of new terms and conditions They will also work closely with the HR Business Partners and senior Leads in developing HR initiatives that create and add value to the Trust.

- CIPD Level 7 Graduate CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and development) Essential or equivalent post graduate level qualification/training/experience
Desirable criteria
- NHS Job Evaluation Training
Previous Line Manager Experience
Essential criteria
- Has experience of managing a team
HR Case work experience
Essential criteria
- Has working knowledge of ER casework
- Experience of working in a recent generalist HR role in a large, complex organisation
- Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults & Children
NHS Experience
Essential criteria
- Has NHS experience
