On the 1st January 2009 North Lincolnshire Primary Care Trust (PCT) changed its name to NHS North Lincolnshire. This move was made to ensure the trust’s position as the local leader of the NHS is much clearer.

As the local leader of the NHS the organisation is responsible for commissioning health services for the North Lincolnshire area. It also provides a significant number of community services.

NHS North Lincolnshire’s main role is to commission high quality health services for the 163,546 residents of North Lincolnshire. This includes hospital services, Community Services and Mental Health services.

The trust receives a total of £228,394,000 to purchase all the necessary health care and this is divided up between the many different health services to meet the needs of the population in agreement with the Yorkshire & Humber Strategic Health Authority.

NHS North Lincolnshire involves patients, the local community, healthcare professionals, social services and voluntary organisations in the decisions around how and where care should be delivered to the local population. Our aim is to ensure that everyone has the health services they need in an accessible, efficient and caring environment.

NHS North Lincolnshire presently has no vacancies listed in our database.
