Huddersfield Royal Infirmary
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust runs the two main hospitals in Huddersfield and Halifax – Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Calderdale Royal Hospital - and provides outreach services in the local communities.
We provide healthcare for more than 435,000 people across Calderdale and Kirklees. In 2009/10 more than 110,000 men, women and children were cared for as inpatients (stayed at least one night) and almost 380,000 attended our outpatient clinics. Added to that our two accident and emergency departments cared for about 130,000 people.
Our Trust is recognised as being amongst the top performing Trusts in the country and we are continuing to modernise and invest in our health services to build on our strong reputation.
Foundation trusts are public leaders in improving quality in health services. They are part of the NHS – yet decisions about what they do and how they do it are driven by independent boards. Boards listen to their Membership Council and respond to the needs of their members – patients, staff and the local community.
Foundation trusts provide what the health service wants, yet are also free to invest quickly in the changes the local community needs, in striving to be the best, and in putting their patients first.
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust presently has no vacancies listed in our database.
